A reception was held at First Baptist Church Inverness on Sunday, September 14th to honor Cecil And Mary Helen "Sissie" Culpepper who will be moving to Bainbridge, GA Sept 26th after living in Inverness for 36 years. Cecil and Sissie will be truly missed. They did so very much for the community and the church. Best Wishes to the Culpeppers- we'll miss you so very much, but know you'll be closer to children and grandchildren!

The 2008 goal is $8,500.00 and letters were mailed to every PO box and rural route address in Inverness along with area businesses. The charities that receive donations annually are: March of Dimes, Salvation Army, St Jude’s Hospital, Sunflower County Heart Assn, Sunflower County Cancer Society, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, & The Inverness Community House. We ask that everyone consider a generous donation to help others out. Donations can be mailed to:
