Jones-Francis


Matthaus Nathaniel Francis and Toni Marie Jones, of Jackson, MS, were married on October 2nd, 2010 at 6PM at Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Museum Village Church, 1501 Lakeland Dr., Jackson, MS., by the Reverend Benny Lee Maynor, Jr.

The Bride was given in marriage by her father, Roy A. Jones, Sr. of Greenville, MS.

Miss Jones wore a couture formal length, candle white, pinch pleated, satin gown with a dropped corset waist silhouette style with exquisite embroidery and bead design, utilizing Swarovski crystals. Her fingertip veil of illusion was scalloped with accent edges of Swarovski crystals. Her Bridesmaids were dressed in semi-formal, knee length, chocolate brown satin, strapless gowns. The Groom, his Groomsmen and the father of the Bride were attired in coordinating black, formal tuxedos.

A Unity Candle Ceremony was presented by the Mothers of the Bride and Groom, Jennifer Jones (Greenville, MS) and Lori Francis (Alexandria, AL).

The Father of the Groom was the late Brandon Francis, Jr. A Candle of Remembrance for Brandon and family lost loved ones was lit in memory.

Wedding Music was performed by the duo of “Jason Bailey and Hannah Gross” of Jackson, MS.

Attendants to the Bride were Bridesmaids-Mary Wright, Jennifer Moy and Gennie Terrell.

Groomsmen were- Adam Causey, Derek Anderson, Jimmy Quinn

 

Grandparents to the Bride are: Mrs. Rose Yeager Moffett, the late Ralph E. Moffett, the late Walter and Marjorie Jones. (Greenville, MS)

Grandparents of the Groom, in attendance to the wedding, are: Brandon Francis, Sr. and Jean Francis. (Alexandria, Alabama)

Special family attendants to the Bride and Bridal party-Sister to the Bride, Rebecca and her husband, family photographer, Mitchell Maund, Brother to the Bride -Allen Jones, Videographer, Nephews-Dustin Jones, Landon and Paxton Maund, Niece-Ashley Jones and Cousin-Rose Moffett Pearson. 

 

Reception followed at the MS. Ag. Museum- Recreation Hall on the grounds.

Mr. and Mrs. Francis spent 10 days on their honeymoon in the Denver, Colorado area. 

The couple now resides in their home in Jackson, MS.










 


















Palmer-Bishop

 

On September 30, 2010 Cheryl Diane Palmer and Bryan David Bishop were united in marriage at the Inn on Biltmore Estates in Asheville, NC in the mid afternoon. With the mountain skyline in the foreground, the couple celebrated the stone ceremony before the wedding. The wedding party each received a stone with their name and date of the ceremony, which was then placed in the bowl symbolizing the joining of separate lives and family into one. The stone ceremony and the wedding was performed by Reverend Fred Werhan of Asheville.

 

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Marion Palmer of Stoneville, Ms.  She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Robinson of Shaw, Ms and the late Mr. M. A. Palmer of Benoit, Ms and Mrs. Mary Ann Palmer of Greenville, Ms.

 

The groom is the son of Mr. David Bishop, Jr., of Seattle, Wa and Mrs. Cindy Bishop of Fairhope, al. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Bishop, Sr of Point Clear, Al and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Darnell of Fairhope, Al.

 

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a couture gown of the empire princess silhouette style with exquisite embroidery and bead design utilizing Swarovski crystals, rhinestone and pearl beads.  The gown was layered with beaded lace over silky ivory satin. She carried in her classic hand-tied bouquet white roses, white freesia and yellow dahlias in a green peegee hydrangea base wrapped with ivory ribbon. The fingertip veil was scalloped with accents of Swarovski crystals. The bride wore jewelry given to her  from family.

 

The mother of the bride wore a champagne v neck, shutter tuck, knee length dress. She wore a corsage of flowers the complimented the brides bouquet

 

Allison Cox of New Albany served as maid of honor. She wore a black chiffon knee length dress with a sweetheart neckline and open back.  The rings were carried by her on a silk frog.

 

The grooms best man was Craig Palmer, the brother of the bride. The grooms boutonniere was made using silver wire curls, green provet berries, hostapods and hydrangea florets backed with ivy.

 

The reception was held at the Inn on Biltmore Estates. The couple honeymooned in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee. The couple now resides in Fairhope, Alabama.

Pittman-McRight

 


The blessing and celebration of marriage of Allison Lynn Pittman and Hunter Dawson McRight took place at six o’clock in the evening on March 20, 2010, at the Carillon Meeting House Chapel of Carillon Beach, Florida.

 

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Judy Pittman and Mr. Wes Pittman of Panama City, Florida. 

 

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dawson McRight of Greenville.  He is the grandson of Mr. Robert Neal Fulghum and the late Mrs. Robert Neal Fulghum; and Mrs. William Omer McRight and the late Mr. William Omer McRight, all of Greenville.

 

Reverend Charles Pettiet of Tallahassee, Florida officiated the ceremony.  Nuptial music was provided by Wedding  Music Plus.

 

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless Alencon lace gown of light ivory with a white blossom tucked behind her ear and vivid fuchsia peep-toe pumps.  She carried an elegant bouquet of white ranunculus bound with white satin ribbon. 

 

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister,  Jaclyn Pittman.  Bridesmaids were Talia Gates; Krisy Holloway; Stefanie Householder; Elizabeth McRight, sister of the groom; and Lacey Nash.  They wore formal gowns of fuchsia silk shantung with matching bouquets of fuchsia ranunculus bound with satin ribbon.  Reine McRight, cousin of the groom, served as flower girl and wore a delicate white dress with a fuchsia shantung sash.

 

Larry McRight, father of the groom, served as best man.  Groomsmen included David Anderson, Jay Bratton, Caleb Dismuke, Frank Gusmus, Christopher Sherman, and Josh Whelan.  Ushers were Ari Robinson, Ben Lindsey and Jerry Lanier.  The ring bearer was John Christian Britt, cousin of the groom. The groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos with boutonnieres made from a single white blossom.

 

The Meeting House Chapel was an all white venue with gleaming hardwood floors. Guests were seated in chairs wrapped in white envelope-tied linens.  Allison and Hunter spoke their vows beneath a dramatic swag of green and white hydrangea topped by sprays of delicate twigs. 

 

Following the ceremony at the Carillon Chapel, the bride’s parents hosted a beautiful sunset reception on the Village Green, also at Carillon Beach, where guests dined and danced under a clear-top tent draped with white fabric sheers on the sides.  Crystal and brass chandeliers were hung along the center of the tent and over the wedding cake, which featured pin dot piping and a topper of white sugar flowers.  It was a lovely setting of  tables dressed in elegant linens set with deep brown chiavari chairs and centerpieces of clear glass vessels with white flowers and greenery.  Guests were entertained by Meet the Press.

 

For the reception finale the bride and groom made their departure under a beautiful bridge of sparklers that were held by their guests. 

 

On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a lovely rehearsal dinner at the Firefly Restaurant in Panama City.   

 

After returning from a honeymoon in Antigua, the couple is at home in Tampa, Florida.

 

 

 


















 Stokes - Henry

 

 Jessica Boise Stokes & Dustin Mark Henry were united in marriage in a 2 p.m. ceremony on Saturday August 7,2010 at Lake Washington First Baptist Church in Glen Allan,MS.

 

 The bride is the daughter of Mr.& Mrs. Doug Nestler of Greenville,Ms and Dale B. Stokes ,Jr. of Greenville,Ms. She is the granddaughter of Mr.& Mrs. Bill Aiken of Union,Ms.  , Lional Whitehead of Greenville,Ms. , Lillie Stokes of Nashville,TN., & the late Dale B. Stokes ,Sr. of Arcola.

 

 The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Mark Henry of Greenville,Ms. He is

 the grandson of the late Charles "Bo" Adair and Betty Adair of Warren , Arkansas; and Mr.& Mrs. Tom Henry of Monticello, Arkansas.

 

 The Rev. Jimmy  McLendon officiated the double ring ceremony.

 

 Julie Stokes Glenn( the bride's twin sister) served as matron of honor.

 Skylar Stokes served as junior bridesmaid.

 Tiffany Stokes Lindsey, Tabetha Stokes Gentry , Tara Henry, Laura

 Graves, Kaitlin Ingram, & Beth Abney served as bridesmaids.

 

 Mark Henry of Greenville served his son as best man.

 Jess Browning God brother to the groom served as junior groomsman

 Smith, and Jared Collins served as groomsmen.

 

 

 Lily Logan Glenn & Anna Rivers Lindsey were the flower girls.

 Following the ceremony a reception was held in the fellowship hall at Lake Washington First Baptist Church.

 

 

 After a honeymoon to Daytona Beach , Florida the couple will make

 their home in Cleveland where they are both students at Delta State University.

 

 The groom is employed with Mississippi State University Delta Research & Extension Service in Stoneville.

 

 The bride is employed with Therapy Innovations in Cleveland.

Robert Allen Sullivan Jr and Lauren Rae Irby were married June 26, 2010 at Wister Gardens in Belzoni, MS.

 

Lauren is the daughter of Danny & Tammy Irby of Leland. Her maternal grandparents are Evelyn Cole & the late Curtis Cole of Leland. Paternal grandparents are the late Howard & Margaret Irby of Leland.

 

Robby is the son of Anna Sullivan & Robert & Laura Sullivan of Leland.

Maternal grandparents are Frank & Sue Briggs Searcy & the late Marvin Fullerton of Leland. Paternal grandparents are Gloria & the late Charles Sullivan of Leland.

 

After a honeymoon to Branson MO, they will reside in Leland where Robby works for Delta Research & Extension Center in Stoneville, and Lauren is attending Ms Delta Community College and works at Red Leaf Pottery in Arcola.

Randy Marquis of Cleveland and Claire Condon Marquis of Greenville announce the marriage of their daughter Tammy Mae Marquis to Michael McCarty, son of Jack and Cheryl Millington of Pontotoc. The bride is the granddaughter of Polly Marquis of Rosedale and the late Mae and Bill Condon of Greenville. She is a 2003 graduate of Hinds Community College, where she received her barber's license, and a 2009 graduate of Mississippi Delta Community College where she received her practical nurse license. She is a licensed practical nurse at Bolivar Medical Center. The groom is the grandson of Boyd and Rebecca Holcomb of Pontotoc and Chuck and Gabriella McCarty of Lake Tahoe, Nev. He is a graduate of Itawamba Community College, where he received an associate's degree in applied science and a bachelor's degree in applied science from The University of Mississippi. Michael is currently working towards an engineering degree at Ole Miss. While in college, he was a member of SAFA. He is employed with Pafford EMS and McCarty and Associates.  The couple exchanged vows at 6:00 pm June 12, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Rosedale MS. The couple received friends at the reception in the fellowship hall immediately following the wedding.

Shauna Lea Causey and Samuel Parker Estes were united in holy matrimony May 1, 2010 at the South Main Church of Christ in Greenville, MS. The ceremony was officated by Reverend Charles Winters. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Gregory Causey of Greenville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Thelma Bennett and the late C.B. Bennett of Greenville and Mr. James E. Causey and the late Lenora Causey of Belzoni, MS.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan William Estes Jr. of Cleveland, MS. He is the grandson of Mrs. Ethel Estes and the late Dan William Estes Sr. of Drew, MS, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wood of Ruleville, MS.























  Maid of honor was Shelley Jones and matron of honor was Shara Bledsoe. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Campbell, SuAnne Hedgepeth, Erin Mitchell, Blair Russell, and Christie Storey. Jennifer Maranto was an honorary bridesmaid. Austin Jones served as flowergirl. Bestman was Dan William Estes Jr. Groomsmen were Brent Baughman, Jeremy Bledsoe, Lake Cox, Clyde Storey, Strehle Thompson, and Patrick Weeks. Ring bearer was Connor Storey.

Ushers were David Arant, Brady Smith, and Jeremy Smith. Following the wedding a reception was held at Cypress Hills Tennis Club in Greenville, MS. Flowers arrangements were by Tarlei Hitchcock. Catering was provided by Marie Clark, Special Occasions By Marie, Soloist Tammy Guest, and Photography by Charlie Lum Photography.The couple honeymooned on a cruise to Cozumel and Calica Mexico.
The Couple is at home in Greenville where the groom is an Industrial Electrician for Causey Electric. The bride is a dental hygienist for Dr. James R. Parkerson D.D.S.

Mimmie Elizabeth McKnight and Brian Doxey Fisher were united in holy matrimony January 16, 2010 at a dusk ceremony at Dunleith Plantation in Natchez, Mississippi.  The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Mitchell B. Hedgepeth.

 

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Allen McKnight, Jr. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jack Allen McKnight, Sr. and the late Mrs. Josephine Graham McKnight of Rena Lara, Mississippi and the Late Mr. Joseph Colquitt Weaver and Mrs. Mary Agard Weaver of Jackson, Mississippi.

 

The bridegroom is the son of Brigadier General and Mrs. Philip Richert Fisher of Clinton, Mississippi.  He is the grandson of Mrs. Sue Fisher Dillon and the late Mr. Philip Doxey Fisher of Jackson, Mississippi and Mrs. Winifred Dallas Davis and the late Mr. Loyd James Davis of Enterprise, Mississippi.

 

Music was performed during the ceremony by the Natchez String Quartet.

 

Scripture was read by Mrs. Mary Ann Signa and Mr. Donald Joe Fisher both of Greenville, Mississippi and godparents of the bride.

 

The bride escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, wore an Ivory Silk Organza strapless A-Line bridal gown with Alencon Lace appliqués, with a vintage freshwater pearl brooch at the empire waist which was tied at the sash,  with ruffles and lace accenting  the chapel train.  Along with the gown, the bride wore a silk lace jacket and an Ivory hand beaded and embroidered chapel mantilla veil provided to her by her Matron of Honor.  Woven into the wedding dress was a piece of her mother’s wedding veil.  A sixpence was taped to her shoe given to her by her matron of honor. The bride carried a bouquet of roses, hydrangea and peonies with a monogrammed handkerchief given to her by her godmother and a rosary wrapped in the body of her bouquet given to her by her matron of honor.

 

Mamie Signa Causey of Greenville, Mississippi, served as the Matron of Honor.  Bridesmaids were Mimi Long Bailey of Jackson, Mississippi, Jennie Beth Dreher Chance of Starkville, Mississippi, Dana Michelle Fisher of Clinton, Mississippi and sister of the groom, Lauren Price Wood Meredith of Nashville, Tennessee, Rachel Gamblin Wall of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Eleanor Power Young of Madison, Mississippi. The bridesmaids wore a Silk Crinkle Chiffon strapless navy gown with draped empire bodice with flowing pleating down the center front. Each carried a hand-tied bouquet of a miniature version of the bride’s bouquet.  The stand-in-bride was Leslie Nicole Case of Nashville, Tennessee.

 

 

Philip Richert Fisher, father of the groom, served as best man.  Groomsmen were Bradley William Barham of Jackson, Mississippi, James Lucius Brock of Oxford, Mississippi, James Charles Crell of Grenada, Mississippi, John Gordon Miller III of Ridgeland, Mississippi, Walter Courts Rogers IV of Canton, Mississippi, and Gregory Joseph Ochs of Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Serving as Ushers were James Hannah Dunavant of New York, New York, Ryan David Kimball of Brandon, Mississippi, Justin Carter Martin of Tupelo, Mississippi, and Jason Scott Stewart of Marietta, Georgia.

 

Following the wedding, the bride’s parents welcomed the wedding guests to a reception inside the Dunleith’s main house.  Guests enjoyed the wedding fare prepared by the mansion’s chef and his staff, the four tiered wedding cake with the bride and groom’s initials was designed by Edna’s Cake Creations.  Host couples were Mr. and Mrs. Ken Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Signa, Mr. and Mrs. Doe Signa and Mrs. And Mrs. Roy D. Dreher. 

 

A  Cajun cuisine reception was held on the patio of Dunleith Plantation after the reception inside the home. The patio was encompassed in a tent with lanterns lighting the area.  Decorations featured courtyard centerpieces with roses, hydrangea and peonies.  Music and dancing was provided by Nationwide Coverage of Birmingham, Alabama.

 

The groom’s table was a candy bar filled with favorite candy of the grooms.  The guests were given gift bags to fill of all of the various types of candy to take home with them. 

 

The bride and groom along with the bride’s parents gave a contribution to M. D. Anderson’s research program for Inflammatory Breast Cancer in honor of each of their guests.

 

 

 

A bridal brunch was held the day before the wedding at Monmouth Plantation hosted by Mrs. Mary Jo Dreher, Mrs. Mary Ann Signa, Mrs. Sug Signa, and Mrs. Mary Katherine Ellis.

 

On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom’s parents hosted a dinner at Stanton Hall.  The wedding party and out of town guests met at the Bowie’s Tavern in Natchez after dinner to spend time with the couple prior to the wedding day.  

 

An Out of Town Brunch was held at The Castles for the bride and groom to be with family and friends before leaving for their honeymoon.  Hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Ken Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Giger, Mrs. Nancy Blaylock and Mrs. Sue Carol Mauney.

 

The couple celebrated their engagement in December with a party in the home of Dr. and Mrs. Grant Dowdy that was given for the couple by family friends of the bride in Greenville.

 

After a wedding trip to Turks and Caicos, the couple is at home in Memphis, Tennessee.
